New Tools - Part 1

We recently obtained and calibrated an Instron Universal Tester. Its tensile grips, three-point bending, and ball burst attachment allow us to offer basic mechanical testing for both bars and films. For more information, please contact Kevin or Noah.

DMA and Viscoelasticity - a talk we wish we gave in Armenia

Instead, we attended this year’s PolyChar short course by Zoom. PolyChar, now called the World Forum on Advanced Materials (and not Poly-Char, which is another group that mimics the name. a long sordid story), started in North Texas at UNT and then started wandering the world.

The organizers were kind enough to take into count the time difference of nine hours. So we were the last talk of the day. You can see the slides here.
